Hi Ankur,

I would suggest you to search the forum. I suppose this has already been discussed here. Just to give you a head start, there is a BAPI which can help you achieve this.

Search the forum and you will find your answer.

Hi Gokul,

Thanks very much for guiding in right way.. Yes I found the below mentioned link and it answered my issue to a large extent.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/2044929

But, I just want to know the way given by an expert as "In case you have multiple projects to put the lock, then you can do a simple LSMW using CJ02 and then just feed the data using the input file. If it is just one project then, not worth the effort"

As, i am not familiar with  the way of using LSMW for CJ02..Can you please share some knowledge on it.

Many thanks & Regards

The explanation given about LSMW itself is self explanatory. LSMW is mostly used in cases where you have large amount of data that needs to be updated in the system. It is nothing but a tool provided by SAP to ease such processes. LSMW can be used for different transactions in SAP.

You can explore more about LSMW using Google. You will find some interesting links that explain this with good examples.

Hi Ankur,

What Gokul has said is correct.

Legacy system migration workbench (LSMW) is tool to feed bulk data using chosen t code.

You can make a lsmw for own T-code easily.

Google about creating LSMW recording.

T-Code is LSMW.
