Project pending settlement report

Hi,

I want a report where I can have all the WBS elements for which settlement is pending. Or in other words you can say, I want CJIC with selection criteria of Plant only.

Is there any table where I can get the remaining amount pending for settlement for a particular WBSE?

Hi Soubhagya,

1. Run CJ88 with Test run and detail list checked.

2. Go to detail list(Ctrl+shilft+F3)

This will show you the amount which is about to settled and currently pending.

Thanks a lot for your reply. But the user wants to enter only plant in the selection screen as the user don't have any idea about project definition and WBS.

In CJ88 you can not have multiple project definition, and as per our scenario we can have more than 10 projects in a plant.

So please you have any idea about the logic behind CJIC, then it will be very beneficial to me.

Hi,

Please fill profit center and GL of Expense in Dynamic selection of CJI3.

This may suffice ur requirement.

But it may complex, depends upon ur projects in that profit centre and material expense GLs.

I think to know the pending Projects settlement, can be viewed through tcode cn41 or cn42n by system status. If the project WBS element  has system status " SETC" ,then this project is settled if there no SETC, then it is pending for settlement.

Hi Srihari,

When you run settlement for the 1st time, SETC status will be activated but after that also you have to run settlement a no. of time. So at that time one will not be able to find out whether the amount is pending for settlement or not.

yes, you are absolutely right.  I was thinking your requirement is Projects due/pending for settlement

To know the pending amount settlement, can you please check cj8g on test run. this you can schedule background or run immediately.

Hi,

When I'm trying to run CJ8G, it gives an error

" The current CO area does not match the CO area of the selection variant ".

Please tell me how to set the controlling area in the selection variant.

hi

you have to use same controlling area, and to run cj8g, you have to create your own variant by giving the attributes & parameters required.

in cj8g, while creating variant, it will not ask plant,

after giving required parameters and save the variant. or you can use sap standard variants also if you want.

Hi Srihari,

I've done the same. It's very helpful but is there any way I can set plant as the selection criteria except in the dynamic selection.

Though I can use the project range here but user has no idea about the project definition belongs to which plant.So they want the report on plant basis only.

Create a variant and tell user to choose that variant only. Protect it for securing it.

We have 20 plants and in each plant we have around 10-20 projects. I've to create 20 different variants for 20 plants. Let's see whether user is agree with this solution or not. Thanks to you and Ediga Srihari for the solution.

Will you be able to get a report of list of WBSE pending for settlement through CJ88?

In our scenario in a plant there may be around 10 projects and the requirement is find the list of WBSE pending for settlement with the selection criteria of plant only.

From plant I can get Project Definition and from PD I can get all the WBSEs but the problem is how can I get the remaining amount in WBSE for settlement like in CJIC.

In CJIC, there is remaining value in WBS needs to settle to AUC but the field "WKGRES" is in a structure. So I need the respective table where I can have that value.

Please if any body have any idea about this table, let me know.
