# PF basis

Dear All,

My Total Income to an EE is coming as 29650. Bifurcation is as mention below:-

Basic:- 10300

Grade pay:- 4600

Local All:- 240

Dearness pay:- 4825

Dearness All:- 9658

Out of which only Local allowance is not applicable for PF basis(/111), rest all are included for PF basis. However My calculation for PF basis is only happening on 4825

/111 is coming as 4825. Where as it should happen on 29410.

How do I know how basis amount is coming?

Regard

KKS

Hello

Please check cummulation class 11 for all the above wagetypes ,except local allowance ,in V_512W_D.

This will then cummulate the above amounts to /111 pf basis ,for the PF calculation to take place.

Thanks and Kind Regards

Ramana

HI KKS,

For the same to happen, you need to change the characteristics of your wagetype. In table v_512w_d, for the Local Allowance Wagetype, uncheck the Cumulation Class 11 and try.

Hope this helps,

Thank you & Regards,

Divya

Hi Divya,

Problem is all Cumulation Class 11 is check except for local all.

So as per rule it should do basis for all wt which is 29410 (except local all)

But system is calculating only on Dearness pay:- 4825.

/3f5 is only coming 579.

Where as it should come on 29410 as basis and /3f5= 3529.

Regard

KKS
