changing profit center in mmr

Hello Experts,

My client wants to change the profit center in material master.

But there is stock in current and previous period.

i have an idea how to make current stock to zero, but i have no idea

how to make stock in previous period to zero.

please can any one help me.

    Hello Murali,

    do it in a very same way, as for Current Period, but with Posting Date of Previous Period; i.e. post Goods Issue (201, 562, anything you like) with Posting Date of last day of previous month, and after required changes in Material Master reverse this movement.

    Well, if you do not have the Previous Period open for posting, you can open it in MMRV.

    Hi,

    No need to change Profit center for material,Just validate profit center for Plant on material creation/change,

    so that you will have default selection of profit center during material master creation/change with plant!

    Chcek User exit in enhancement MGA00001.
