Should I create a Z Object for Installed DSO 0FIGL_O14?

Hi, I installed the New FI GL DSO 0FIGL_O14 and was wondering if I should just work with the standard one or create a new Z DSO Object and work with this?

Could anyone let me know what their opinion is on this?

Thanks!

best practice is to work with the standard infoobjects, but create a Z variant of the cubes/dso.

      Hi Kenneth,

if everything suits with your requirement then go for standard objects(BI content) and use it.

If it does't provide what you need then create your own objects. If it is always go with Z objects then there is no use of providing Business Content in SAP BI.

    Hi Kenneth,

You have to create Z copy of the installed cube and then add Z object in it..

The reason being if you again by mistake reinstall the cube it will overwrite all your changes..

    Thanks and regards
