Partner functions updation through CREMAS

Hi ,

We are updating vendor master data in ECC through CREMAS idoc from MDM.

IN E1WYT3M segment we are populating 005 field value for MSGFN so that partner function details are updated by deleting old records and replacing with new records. Idocs are failing due to mandatory partner function like PI .

following is the exact error message 'deletion of mandatory partner function PI is not possible' or deletion of mandatory partner function VN is not possible'.

Please advise on how to over come this ,with out changing PI partner function as not mandatory.

I have exactly same issue when passing data from MDG to ECC.

Can you please inform how did you resolve the issue?
