Purchase Request - Position: how set field EBKN-XBAUF

Hi,

in my Test System  ther'are two PR, posted to internal order, that have the field EBKN-XBAUF set.

There are other PR, posted to internal order, that haven't the field EBKN-XBAUF set.

What does this field mean ?

How does it set ? maybe creation PR by ME51N or other transaction ?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried but I could not re.creaye such case, there isn't an user-exit mange this field.

I think these PR have been created while falling down system.

i checked in few of my clients system ... it is blank in all of them ... wud u please throw light on what significance of the field u want to edit in PR creation

Also in my client system almost always this field is empty about PR posting to internal order.

But there are few PR that have the field xbauf set.

I don't know the mean of this field, also there isn't into  trx ME51 ME51N ME52 ME52N ME53 ME53N

I 've only seen that for these PR doesn't work check availabity budget to internal order.

For other PR posting to internal order this check works.

see if the internal orders referred in these PR are of statistical nature .. and whether qty is consumed during GR.

the internal order isn't of statistical nature and the PR don't even have a GR.

By SAP told me this field should be empty. These PR have been posted manually, by trx ME51N

can you re-create such case, or was it just a one-time event?

I mean when you create a new requisition (do nto copy the requisition that has this field filled)

if this field has a value, while SAP is saying it should be blank, are  you certain that this field is not mis-used for other purposes in your company and may be set by a user exit?
