Service PR not editable after partial quantity is adopted into PO

Hi

We are facing an issue in case of service PRs. If a PO is created with reference to a service PR, the PR is rendered unchangeable especially the service tab is all greyed out. Our user has a case in which he created a service PR in which there was a service with quantity 100 in item tab. PO of quantity 30 was created by adopting this PR. Now no more service is required, so the user wants to change the quantity in PR from 100 to 30 but the service tab is all greyed out. Kindly help.

Hi,

Whether quantity field on service tab (technically ESLL-MENGE) is
changeable or not depends on setting of error message SE 721
'Requisition already converted into purchase order & &' in customizing.

Materials Management -> External Services Management ->
-> Define Attributes of System Messages

If this error is set as warning you can change quantity on service line
item.

Regards,

Ashwini.

It worked by changing SE721 to warning or nothing makes vulnerability of reducing the PR quantity less than the ordered quantity i.e. now the user can reduce the quantity to less than 30 as well though PO of 30 has been made.

In Path -> SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing - > Purchase Requistion -> Define screeen layout at document level -> Check for Field Selection key ME52 & NBB for field Quantity in Selection group Quantity and Price, Make it optional if it is Display

Already optional. This does not happen in case of material. It happens only in case of services. The service tab becomes totally greyed out when a PO has been created.

if PR is release strategy relevant please check if u r able to edit qty after u derelease it .... PO creation in general has nothing to do with editing qty of PR

PR is not relevant to release strategy.
