G/L account is missing [Goods Receipt – Rows – Warehouse Code]

Hi all.

We have an issue when we try to adjust the differences in quantity and values for the following items: OL002, PR002, CH042 & OL027. When we tried to do Goods Receipt on these items, it will pop up an error message “G/L account is missing [Goods Receipt – Rows – Warehouse Code][line: 1], ‘OL002’ [Message 131-46]”

Other consumable items that store in warehouse CON01 can be added without any issue. Why only these four items cannot be added using Goods Receipt? They are stored in the same warehouse, CON01 and also the settings at Item Master Data are the same.

The weird thing is OL002 can be added separately by keying 1, 10, 15, 19, 25, 55, 73 to get a total of 199 instead of keying in 199 in one Goods Receipt. And also if I try to change the total value to get a different unit cost, the same error message will be appeared.

Kindly guide me on the above issue.

Hi all.

I managed to solve the problem already. The main reason that I can't add those items is they are having negative value. I have to set the Negative Inventory Adjustment account for that item group. Our Inventory items are managed by item group.

Hi Leng,

check G/L account determination at item as well as warehouse level.

Is your inventory batch managed ?

Is there any minimum and maximum stock limit set at warehouse level ?

check allow negative inventory and stock deviation tick at initialization level.

check settings general settings and system initialization.
