Free Characteristic

Hi,

I defined new attribute for 0Customer.

I defined this attribute as navigational attribute.

I am unable to use this attribute as free charateristic in queries.

I am using Multiprovider in query.

Any help on this highly appreciated.

Hi Sudhakar,

Once you enabled that Nav.attribute in Infocube, then you have to assign at Multiprovide level.

Press assignment option at Multiprovider and do assignment - Activate.

Then u will find that Nav.attibute in Query.

Try and replay if any help required.

Thanks for your replies,

I did the assignment in infocubes and multiprovider.

But still i am unable to drag to free charateristic.

This attribute is appearing in Sold-to and Bill-to.

I am able to use Sold-to and Bill-to as free characteristic.

But I am unable to use this new attribute as free characteristic.

Check whether it is used in Rows panel.

Are you able see it as saperate charecterstic?

Replay if any issues.

Hi Vijay,

I am uanle to see it as separate Charateristic.

Sold and billto are used in Row panel.

Please let me know if I need to give further details

Means, plz cross check once again modeling steps.

0CUSTOMER - select nav.attribute check box.

select nav.att check box in Infocube.

Do assignment at Multiprovider level.

Analise the issue clearly.

Replay any help required.

the master data object

the basic cube
