Whenever Java restarts some of the deployed applications are not starting automatically.

Hi Experts,

We are running on SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SP10, we have some java applications up and running but whenever java restarts some of the applications are not starting automatically, then we are logging into NWA and starting the applications manually.

Is there any way to achieve applications to start automatically without manual intervention even java restarts?

Try checking various suggestions and mainly one regarding default startup mode for the applications.

      Hi ,

      Thanks.......working fine...

Please do the followed steps to start the java applications automatically when ever java restarts.

      1. Open Configtool.

      2. Switch to configuration editor mode.

      3. select deploy to find your application.

4.- Select "STR:StartUp=<>". The value of it goes from 1 to 3, 1 means manual, 2

means lazy (used only by WD appls), 3 means always.

      5. I changed the value from 2 to 3 and the next time I re-started the server the application are started automatically.

      Thanks & Regards,

      Kiran Babu.
