Release rejcted in CO02

Dear All,

I face a problem sometimes that while releasing Production order in CO02 release gets rejected.Now i observe that some item in its Tree creates problem due to Availablity check 02 in MRP3,if i change it as KP order gets released.Later on even if i again change it to 02 problem is not observed.It happens rarely .Is it related to Max Lot size or what.can anyone put light on it.

Dear,

Rejection of production order release is due to not maintainance of check availability in OPJK for order type which you are using.

Try to maintain them in t-code OPJK

revert in case of any doubt.

Hello Vikas,

Order release rejection is due to non availiability of the material please check the error log for releasing error in production order.

If you maintain KP the order will not check for material availiability.I directly releases the order.

You can adjust the setting accordingly by customising the same:

In OPJK, in the Release Material field, change the value to 1 or 2.
1 = User decides on release if parts are missing
2 = Release permitted despite missing parts

Once the mateial are availiable then with the setting in MRP3 as 02 will allow the order to be release

Thanks for reply.I have mainatined in release material field as 1 or 2,in not in mine any manufactring plant i have maintained it as 3,still problem occurs rarely.

Dear,

in OPJK 1 and 2 are standard

1-- Check availability during order creation

2-- Check availability during order release

For both (Depends on your requirement) u have to maintain the checking rule.

once u create this then your order will be released.
