How to configure ECC connectivity in SAP MII/MEINT.

Hi,

How to configure ECC connectivity in SAP MII/MEINT?

We have collaboration events in SAP ME, Once the event is triggered in ME the Message are queued in ME's "Outbound ME Messages" tab.

Example message type: COLLABORATION_ERP_YIELD_CONFIRMATION

Since ECC is not configured/setup in SAP MII/MEINT, the messages are not processed. Messages are with NEW status in queue. Can you please let me know how can we configure ECC in MII/MEINT, so that the messages are processed.

In which document can i find the setup procedure?

Hi Shridhar,

The setup for ME includes the required configuration for ECC for the integration of message to and from ECC.  The installation guide should have those instructions.

Which version of ME are you working with?

Hello Mike,

We didn't do the installation and i am not sure if the MII/MEINT  to ECC configuration was done. I am checking with the team.

When the events are triggered in ME, the messages are queuing up in "Outbound ME Messages" tab with Status ":NEW" but are not getting processed.

I am thinking the Job or scheduler which should pick the waiting messages from "Outbound ME Messages" is not enabled/running.

How can i check and make sure the job is set correctly and running.?

Can i find the MII?MEINT to ECC configuration in service.sap.com/instguides?  or help.sap.com site?

If you have, can you please send me the link/path?

I will see if I can get one of the ME gurus to respond to this thread.  The last version of ME that I was reasonably familiar with is version 5.2.  I know that the interfaces changed a bit in 6.0, but the two links you mention should get you the info you need, especially the first.

Michael, thanks for letting us know about the question.

Shridhar, the configuration of MEINT is meant to be completed by means of executing SAPMEINT CTC wizard that is described in ME 6.0 Installation Guide.

As concerns the steps of configuration at ERP side, please refer to ME 6.0 online help, section dedicated to ERP-ME Integration and subsections.

Hi Shridhar,

You need to be looking at the ME installation guide, not MII.  MII is the connection tool.  ME is the user application which is where the configuration needs to be defined.  I have pinged a couple of ME folks to take a look and hope that they will either respond or point a better resource in your direction.
