Sending a report to a Mail Recipient

I am using SAP Crystal Report 2010 in a Windows 10 Pro environment.

I am getting an error whenever I try to send a report via email to one of my co-workers.

I try to do this by choosing the Send To option off of the File menu and then select Mail Recipient.

As soon as I make that selection I get a generic error message that indicates Crystal Reports has stopped working, and then the application closes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is reproducible on my machine as well. We will investigate.

What is the version of your CR Designer? (there is no such version as CR 2010) Is it CR for Visual Studio?

As a workaround, save report to hard drive and e-mail as .rpt file attachments.

    Hi Lloyd,

That is a known issue, Microsoft changed their MAPI exporting dll so we had to update CR and our runtime as well.

Also, it's only going to work when using Microsoft Office 32 bit versions, 64 bit versions do not support 32 bit MAPI according to Microsoft.

Upgrade to the latest CR Service Pack, unfortunately we do not have full builds available to download so you have to incrementally upgrade to SP 12 from this link:

    Don

PS - if you have a support contract you can go to SMP and get a full build install.
