issue in javascript

Hi

After gone through sdn forums , finally posting this issue here. I am trying to replace the % with _ using java script. My transformation is

*OPTIONS

FORMAT = DELIMITED

HEADER = YES

DELIMITER = ,

AMOUNTDECIMALPOINT = .

SKIP = 0

SKIPIF =

VALIDATERECORDS=YES

CREDITPOSITIVE=YES

MAXREJECTCOUNT=

ROUNDAMOUNT=

*MAPPING

ID=ID

*CONVERSION

RPTCURRENCY=RPTCURRENCY_MD_CF.XLS

Conversion File :

EXTERNAL INTERNAL FORMULA * js:%external%.replace("%", "_");

But my jave script is not working and showing the same error i.e % is invalid member. Any clues plz?

regards

Mahi

    Hi Mahi,

    probably % is a reserved character, try using another symbol in your input file and change the replace statement.

    Kind regards

    Hi Roberto

    Thanks for your suggestion

    Even I tried with Other sign i.e ) but it is not working. I tried with other syntax js: %external%.replace (" ) ", " "). Even this one is also not working. Can I skip this invalid member id

    How to do it.

    regards

    Mahi
