customer marked for deletion

Dear Friends

I've marked a customer for deletion (by XD06).

&

I've made the following settings.

"Goto OBMSG, select application F2.double click on messages.

Change message type from I to E for message number 133 and 131.

Goto SM30. enter V_T100C. click on maintain.

Enter application F2. Click on new entries.

Enter message 131 or 133 Enter value E in online and Batch fields and save".

Now, when I create an SO for the above customer (marked for deletion), the system is allowing to save the SO, by giving just an information message.

The system should give an ERROR message & not allow to save the SO.

what more settings should be done?

Any guidance is surely appreciated.

Hi Sumanth,

Go to Tcode XD05 and bloc the customer so system will not permitted you to create sales order.

Here, the issue is NOT customer block.

The point is, for customers "marked for deletion", the system should NOT allow to save the SO, by giving an ERROR mssg.

Hi sumanth,

what is warning massage number ..???

if it starts with LB go to Tcode OCHS

                           VL go to Tcode OVM1

                           V4 go to Tcode OVAH.

If the error massage starts with V1 that is sap standard massage so it will not recommended to change.( if you want you can change by Tcode SE91and enter massage class and massage number)

Instead i recommend you to apply User Exit.
