Variables Screen in BEx Analyzer comes up for cetrain queries altough using "Save and reuse"

Hi there,

I got a strange behaviour with BEx Analyzer 3.5:

We put a range of queries in a Excel workbook and avoided the variables screen by using "Save and reuse variables values" function.

This worked well the past. While refreshing the workbook, no variables came up and the already used ones were just used again.

But now, it seems that this doesn´t work  anymore for cetrain queries.

For some queries, the varaibles screen comes up always. It shows correctly the values used before, put we always have to "okay" this values.

We are currently using Version 3571.6.74.

Has anyone dicovered a similar problem in the past?

Hi Avind,

thanks for your notes!!!

It sounded quite good.. but infortunatelly they are not applicable in our system. We are on 7.3 SP4.

Do you have another idea?

Dear Oliver,

Did you try with the latest frontend patch 10. I think you are testing with patch 6. Please install the

latest patch from service market place and retry.

I just tried with 3572.10.100... Same result.

Also tried Note 1671320 without success...

Another idea?

Also 1609179 did not help.
