Hi

I got a situation where i need to define a group chart of accounts with two operative chart of accounts. The two operative chart of accounts is having two different fiscal years. And my client requires a consolidation for the above said.

Will this work with 2 differnt fiscal year?. If so how it will work. Also give some idea regarding consolidation and their respective reports.

    Dear Vipin,

Practically I think its not possible to use 2 different operating chart of accounts(OCA).

Only 1 OCA will be used at a time.

For your case just Consider the 2 OCA as 2 Country specific Chart of Accounts.for these 2 country specific chart of accounts, create common Operating CoA and maintain a Group CoA

we can maintain different fiscal years for chart of accounts by maintaining, 2 ledgers for that COA and a Group Ledger for the consolidation.

    Regards,

    Sridhar.
