Hi ,
I am new to CRM related enhancements. I need to populate a flow in BI regarding service ticket journey in CRM. It will be really helpful to me if anyone has any documentation based on the journey of sales order or the doc flow of the sales order. How to find out Predoc for a particular sales order. As per my knowledge Opportunity -- Quotation --- Service Ticket -- Service Order -- Confirmation related data gets loaded this way but I want the complete flow of information i.e total journey of the documents.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Snehasish
Hi Snehasish,
I remember looking into this a while back and I do not believe there is a table in CRM that tracks the journey of the document flow.
However, the different records (e.g. Quotation, Sales Order, Service Contract etc....) typically have a Preceding_GUID attribute on the data record and you can use this to join back to which record created it. So, a Sales Order record would likely have a Preceding_GUID that is the GUID of the Quotation ID that the Sales Order was created from.
