Excel format is not same as in Word or Crystal Template

Hi all,

I would like to ask you question about formatting. We are using Crystal Reports templates for our Invoices. When we export them from our SW to pdf or doc everything is correct but if we export it to excel, the formatting which is in that template will disapper.

Is there any way how to make to look it same?

Thank you very much for your help.

Well, word and pdf exports will always be very close to how the report looks in the preview tab.

Export to excel on the other hand does not do a great job with the formatting etc.

So, you cannot really compare pdf/word exports with Excel exports.

    Hi,

Formatting CR for Excel is very challenging one. Below are some of the formatting challenges.

    1. There should not be any gap between the columns. If there is any gap between the columns, Excel will assign one column for the gap.

    2. And there should not be any overlap, for this overlap also Excel will assign one column.

    3. There should not be any space between the Detail section cells and the Section End.

    4. All the column cells should be in same height and width.

    5. If there is any groups avail, the group cell width should end with the other section column width.

    Thanks.
