No transaction type available for RFx in SOCO for backend PR

Dear Experts,

We have implemented classic scenario in SRM 7.01/ECC 6 ehp 5. We have configured Plan Driven Procurement scenario whereby all the backend PR 's do appear in the sourcing cockpit of SRM.

Now, in the sourcing cockpit, while selecting backend PR and select RFx as a follow-on document, the system does not show any transaction type for RFx although we have enabled two transaction types for Rfx.

However, the system is showing the transaction types of RFx if the requirement is locally created shopping cart.

Is it standard behaviour of SRM or I am missing some configuration? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Ranjan

Hello,

Go to SPRO -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Service Procurement -> Activate Service Procurement.

Here you assign hierarchy templates HIER_SE or HIER_SRM to RFX transaction types, depending on the scenario that you are working.

1)HIER_SE
Hierarchy template to be used when the RFx is created based on backend service purchase requisitions.

2)HIER_SRM
Hierarchy template to be used when the RFx is created from a requirement in SAP SRM or when a local RFx is created.

So, when a backend service procurement PR is sent to sourcing cockpit, only those transaction types that have HIER_SE assigned will be listed.

When a non Service Procurement PR/SC is in sourcing cockpit, only those transaction types that have the hierarchy template HIER_SRM will be listed.

After that, if you would like to restrict the attributes displayed in soucring cockpit, you can set attribute TEND_TYPE in PPOMA_BBP for the user who has access to sourcing cockpit.

Ricardo

The transaction type for the attribute TEND_TYPE should be maintained for the purchase group responsible for entry channel.

Dear Ranjan

Please refer the OSS note Note 1267549 - SRM7.0: Creation of new transaction types for RFx and Quote.

You have to assign the appropriate transaction type to  the hierarchy template HIER_SE , which is meant for only back end documents.

And in "Define Transation Type " that needs to be in active.

Hope it will helps.

Thanks and Regards

Hello,

Have you created custom RFX types?

Please check if you have assigned HIER_SRM or HIER_SE hierarchy templates to these RFX types?

From SRM 70 onwards, HIER_SRM has to be enabled for non-service procurement RFX types and HIER_SE has to be enabled for service RFX.

Sushil.
