Validation Rule Set Up for Header Document

Hi All,

Good Day!

May I ask for your inputs on how do I set a prerequisite so that it will give an error message if the document date is greater than 2 months from the posting date? I am doing some validation rule set up for header document.

Hi Tina,

I tried myself and talked to a few tech friends. It is not possible to write the pre-requisite directly as SAP doesnt ready "Posting Date + 60". You need to calculate this value before comparing the fields. Coding wise it seems to be fairly simple and people suggested we should look for standard function modules to perform that calculation of Posting Date + 60 with some simple coding to achieve what you are looking for.

Unfortunately, I couldnt find a better answer. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for your inputs. We've tried to play some validation rule prerequisites as well and it seems that simple program may resolve our problem.
