how to retrieve transport request???

Hello friends,

    We have released one request from development --> quality --> production also, but now they want old program which was there before that request. we dont have any backup for that old program. I think there is no chance to retrieve that request... if there is any possible way to get back that old program??? please help friends, what i have to do???

Hello,

Whenever you make any changes to a program , these changes are captured in a transport request   

and the new version of the program is activated in the system (Obviously after making changes you have to activate it to take the changes to effect.) , this versions can be accessed through the

'Version Management' .

Kindly Go to SE38 -> Enter the progran Name -> Display -> Utilities -> Version -> Version Management

Here you can see all the versions of the program. Only 1 version will be active and that will be marked as active. You can check with your ABAPers for the version they want and retrieve that version from here.

Hi Farkath,

Use version management to retrive an older version in development and move the changes across to production.Take an ABAPpers help.

Hi,

Go to se38 and enter program name  then dispay.Then go to utility and version then version management . There u will see Transport request numbers . Check with abapers which request they want to import to production.
