Error in forecast comparation screen

Dear SAP Expert!

When I go to Forecast comparation and click button "Errors", but an error occurs. Anotherone explain that the reason is the forecast error is too big. But in my case, I only choose MAPE as forecast error and the number of error is not too big. Then, the error is still occurs. My detail senerio as following:

- Goto Interactive Demand Planning Screen (tcode /s/SAPAPO/sdp94) and run univariate forecast

(Historical data is stored in KF “Dữ liệu lịch sử)

- In model tab in the next screen, run forecast with some models (constant models; trend models; seasonal and trend model; Seasonal model and history)

-    - In the forecast errors tab, I choose MAPE to calculate errors and the number of error is not too big

-    - Choose “Forecast comparation” button

-   - In the screen “Compara version”, click button “Errors”

-   - And then, error occurs

HoHow can I do in this case to not meet this error

Hi Duyennx,

The overflow exceptions occur when you use large value that can't be handled by the key figure (i.e. a field in the corresponding ABAP program is not lengthy enough to manage such huge numbers).

Consider using smaller values (for instance divide these huge number by 100000). However, there will be a short fall in solution quality due to data loss in rounding.

Hi Rajesh!

I''ve tried to put smaller values into key figures with random value and see then see the error again. So I think the reason is not by large value in the key figure

Hi Duyennx,

Pl. verify the key figure (Info Object) settings for a possible clue. If you don't find any, probably, you need to raise a ticket with SAP for a quick fix.
