Free Goods Scenario- Buy A and B and get C free

Dear Experts,

We have come up with a requirement of free goods as below-

If customer is buying a predefined quantities of material A and B TOGETHER, another different item C will be provided as free. All are different materials with a defined

quantity in proposal.

I know that std SAP does not support such kind of scenario. Just want to know the views if someone has executed the same in real by any custom devepopment. As there

are many open thoughts/points for using any custom development so want to get some idea to start with.

Kindly provide your valuable inputs.

Hi Dahrmendra,

May be you should go in for a non deliverable & non billable material for this scenario. Make it configurable.

Maintain a BOM with usage - 5 and matl-A, B & C as its comp.

Configure the material to select A & B.

Use a sel. cond. in the BOM against C so that it gets selected only if A & B are selected.

Being a BOM of uage-5, it can be exploded in the sales order line items.

Maintain the item cat determination settings suitably.
