Invalid Procedure Call

Using CR 2011 I created a fairly complex report.  It links via odbc to an access database that performs several queries to extract data from Sage BusinessWorks.  All was well, working great.  However, now all of the sudden, I get an error "failed to retrieve data from the database" Database connector error. DAO error code 0x5. Invalid procedure call"

I have no idea why it is doing this.  I was trying to get it to refresh the database on opening the report from the design software (without clicking the refresh button).  But it has been several days and I don't remember what, if anything, I left behind from those attempts.  Or even how to go about checking for it.  I have a saved version of the report in case I trample on the report as I make changes - but it is doing the same thing so I don't think it is any changes that I did that is causing this.

Does anyone have any ideas why it is doing this and how I fix it?  I can't update the report for changes since it crashes every time now.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

Sage is an OEM Partner of ours and are required to the the first line of support. If they find an issue they will log a case with us to resolve.

Check with Sage if they support CR 2011 and their data sources. If not we can't help. It may be that their Data Driver has not been configure for CR 2011, just happened to work. Possibly because something else was running and CR "piggy backed" on that connection. Now it doesn't work because the conditions have changed.

Once you get connected consistently and have issues with the report design we can help.

Also, We as in SAP Support.
