Hi, all. Running Solman 7.1 sp4, having some "issues" with Issues. If we create a new issue as Draft, it will show that status and will also show an Open status - however no other status will display on the ISsues or Top Issues WebUI - the field remains stubbornly empty. We also can't change the status to closed (or anyother status) from those screens, but have to go to Solman_issue_mgmt to get that done.
Seems we're missing some configuration or step somewhere, having difficulty figuring out what tho.
Ideas/pointers?
Thanks!
Bernie
OSS note 1739078, fixed the issue.

Issue Management comes out of the box. Currently, configuration is not supported and reflected in UIs.
Expected status values are: "new", "in process", "draft", "completed"
Application component for customer messages: SV-SMG-ISM
Transaction solman_issue_mgmt has been replaced by the functionality integrated in the work center (SAP Engagemenent and Serivce Delivery, Top Issues / Issues / Tasks).
The transaction is "maintenance mode", no further enhancements are planned.

Ruediger - we are having this problem IN the workcenter, not in the transaction. The transaction is behaving correctly, the workcenter is not. (well, maybe it is, but we're misunderstanding it, which is also possible)..
We can see the status in the drop down, select the new status, save it, but the status will NOT update and will not show up in the status column of the Issues screen. We end up with no choice but to go back to the tcode solman_issue_mgmt to update these..
Hi,
check the status profile on tcode crmbs02, s there lower and higer status set with different number?
and also check s there any restrictions you made using roles and authorisation?
Thanks

Hmm, we seem to hav a custom Z profile - with 10,20, 30, 31, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 status codes.. The 10 through 62 codes show up when creating a new issue, all codes show up when viewing an existing issue detail, but none of the codes except "Draft" show up in the overall issue workcenter view.
I wonder if the Z profile is the root cause of all this.. Still doesn't explain why "draft" shows up and the rest don't, though.
I have gone through note 1019583, but that applies to SM 7.0. Is there an updated note for 7.1?
Update to this - the z profile is configured as the status profile.
