Crystal Reports for Enterprise Client Server 2011

Regarding Crystal Reports -

My understanding is that for new BI4 installs and Crystal Server, it is recommended to implement Crystal Enterprise versus Crystal Reports 2011.

However we are confused by what version of Crystal Server we are working with and how to get Enterprise. We cannot find any reference to Crystal Reports Enterprise, only 2008 and 2011 in the marketplace. So is the combintation of Crystal Server 2011 and the Crystal Report Designer for Enterprise all this is needed for a new install?

BI4 FP2 SP16 on AIX 6.1

CMC > Servers. Crystal Reports Service >

server.CrystalReports2011ProcessingServer?

Though the crystal client from bi launch pad reports as Crystal for Enterprise.

In the admin guide it also only mentions Crystal 2011

    Hi Lee,

Crystal Report Enterprise comes alongwith BI 4.0 installation and CR 2011 needs to be installed seperately.

Kindly elaborate more on your query.

    Regards,
