Not able to Extract the PLA from J2I5 and J2I6; Opening Balance not being populated for RG23A and RG23C

Dear Experts,

Please help me in the following:

Here we have two issues Related to CIN:

1. We are Not able to Extract the PLA from J2I5 and J2I6

2. Opening Balance not being populated for RG23A and RG23C.

The details are as follows:

The Company has gone live on April 1, 2012

Issue 1:The PLA Balances are uploaded manually in the Table J_2IACCBAL as on 31.03.2012 for the one and only Excise Group 10. Also assigned the scripts.

When I try to do PLS Extraction for the month of April 2012, ie, from 01.04.2012 to 30.04.2012, the system is showing a Red Colour Cross mark. The last Extracted date is on 31.03.2012

Issue 2: The opening balances for RG23A, RG23C are not being populated in the print Tcode: J2I6 after extraction.

First RG23A and RG23C are being extracted in J2I5. When we see the print out. we found that its not picking up the Opening balances. Could any one please suggest me how to get out of this problem.

Thank you so much for the immediate reply, and for the document. I have gone through it clearly. But here we have followed all the processes as told in the document. but still its the same. Couldnt trace out where it is going wrong. Could any one share a thought.

Have you made any entries through proper Excise cycle in April or May, After Initial upload of Excise you need to do atleast 1 cycle in system after that try to Extract with J2I5 & J2I6,

Hi Yadav,

Yes, we have done many entries.. hundreds of entries are posted. Also the client has utilised PLA in J2IUN too. But we are not able to Extract when we are trying to do that in J2I5 for the month of April, 2012. Also not able to see the opening balances of RG23A and RG23C in the J2I6. Remaining data is coming.

Then I feel there was some problem in processing somewhere, Have you extracted the register Initially after upload or doing it now 1st time?

Yes. Yadav, We are extracting it for the first time. Even in Quality server also we are not able to get that PLA Extraction. But able to get the open balances for RG23A and RG23C part 2.

Dear Yadav, the company has gone live on April 1, 2012. Excise Invoices are posted through their route, all these days. We are trying to extracting the data in J2I5 for the first time for the month April 2012. The balances were loaded into the respective tables(RG23A BED, ECES, SECES, RG23C BED, ECES, SCES and PLABED, ECES, SECES balances in J_2IACCBAL table, RG1 balances in J_2IRG1BAL and J_1IRGSUM tables) on March 31, 2012. Is there anything that we missed. Please advice.

Have you did J1I5 for Classification ROP after GO-LIVE

Yadav ji, No we havent yet done that. Does it have any impact on PLA Extraction.?

Hi Yadav,

The issue is resolved. The Utilization of PLA is carried on 08.05.2012. I ran the J2I5 with the start date 01.04.2012 and the end date as 08.05.2012. It worked. Thank you so much for your help.
