Hi Experts.
I have a serialized material on which I need to perform an inspection with task list as a result of a goods receipt. There will only ever be one serialized material per inspection lot.
I want the serial number to be transferred to the inspection lot so I am using single results recording and external numbering of original values is not allowed. This is working and the serial number is being transferred to the "Unit to be inspected" tab.
What is not working is that many of the MICs in the inspection are qualitative and I want them valuated according to their characteristic attribute code. This appears to only work if the MIC is summarized. I don't want my users to have to manually valuate the characteristics and I must maintain that serial number. Does anyone know a way around this?
Thanks in advance.
Have you set in QM plant settings If N=1 treat as summarized?

I don't use serial numbers, but I tried it using number of containers. Set up a sampling procedure as follows: I used a sampling type of 100 and a valuation mode 100 - attributive inspection nonconf units. Sa,ple sized fixed to 1. My Pass/Fail characteristic was set to individual result recording.
This seemed to work ok.
