Hi Vidhya,

I don't think that webi report can be opened through excel by document link from design studio or directly from excel using any add-on.

If the user want only the report to be opened in excel then you can go for an Analysis for office report or the user can export data directly from design studio to excel.

From Webi report you can only export the report to excel as Tammy mentioned cannot directly open it as far as i know.

Thanks,

Poovarasan

But i need to open those reports as excel.

OK, if you can view them in Web Intelligence, you can also export from Web Intelligence to Excel - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBP6SHwrP_M

Yes, I agree on your option. But customers need this requirement.

OK, I am not following why my suggestion "won't meet the requirement"? Perhaps if you share screen shots?

I am not following - Web Intelligence to Design Studio? Do you mean using Web Intelligence as a data source to Design Studio?

In Design Studio you can export to Excel - see http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/10c44eb4-0d35-3110-e497-803c4c019648&override...

If you want to use Web Intelligence as a data source to Design Studio, look at third party apps such as APOS - see Figure 6 here: https://blogs.sap.com/2015/09/19/design-studio-update-apos-webcast-recap/
