keeping count of HU in stock

Hello everyone

I have studied and tested Handling Unit Management functionality.

There is 1 point unclear though.

Is it possible to keep stock count of packing materials? For example, in my company we have 300 pallets which are used to pack\unpack incoming\outcoming materials. How can I track how many pallets are there in slocs if some of them were sent to customer with ordered goods (but will be returned after some while)?
