Service order from sales order

Hi Masters,

When i created sales order with service product and quantity = 1, the service order is automatically generated, kindly tell me how can i stop to generate a service order in the background.

plus i want integration of sales and service order, actually client requiment is separatly create sales and service order and then assign sale order number to service order they don't automatic service order generate and so that i can change congi setting TAD-->SERA-->203

kindly tell me the way so that i can assign a sales order to service order and i can stop automatic generation of service order for quantity =1 in sales order

There are 2 tables I have not done this for some time and if I remember correctly I think the table is 499A but am not one hundred percent sure within this table you specify the task list that is used to generate the service order for the service product.

If you do a search on the table 499 and do a wild card search for tables starting 4* this will give you a list of the tables in this range.

if you remove any entries int this table then service orders will not be generated

Hi Pete,

Yes you are correct was trying to work from memory as I do not have any access at the moment as I am over in the USA in workshops.

Hi ,

     I am not completely sure , but for stopping service order generation, goto OVZG and search for Service Order types , SM03 or any service order type , then you would find respective requirement class, remove the order type from that ..
