Dear Experts,

I have created a PR with an Internal order reference of value 200000, and the PR is converted to PO and 100000 GR is done

I wanted to create new line item in PR so i reduced the quantity of PO to reduce the PO value to 100000, As the PR quantity cannot be changed, i changed

the value of PR to 100000, when i am trying to add a new line item, it giving me an error budget exceeded. Kindly help.

let carry on ur example :-

u say u create

IO          20000    PR   200 units  20000 value   PO  200 units  20000 value     GR 100 unit  10000value

Budget left = budget - GR value - Open PO value - Open PR value

                  =  20000 - 10000 -10000 -0  = 0

now wat u have done is reduced PO  qty to say equal to GR and PR value to 10000

IO          20000    PR   200 units  10000 value   PO  100 units  10000 value     GR 100 unit  10000value

Budget left = budget - GR value - Open PO value - Open PR value

                  =  20000 - 10000 -0 - 5000  = 5000

Pr value = amount * open qty /total qty   = 10000*100/200 = 5000

so see if u are creating new PR line item with value  more then 5000 , if yes .. error is pretty justified.  Try short closing PR line item.

cheers
