No valuation type field in MIGO screen

Hi ,

When doing MIGO, no " Enter valuation type " message triggered for split valuated material.

Why? WHere I dod wrong?

Hi,

First chcek material master!

Did you maintained the valuation category in material master?

If yes, did you extend the material with valuation type and if not- Use t.code:MM01 and  extend the material with valuation type and save.

Now go for goods receipt in MIGO and you can enter your valuation type

Enter Valuation type message will come only when u have not entered the valuation type for split valuated material in PO.

You can see the valuation type for each line item in MIGO screen at line item details.

Other people would be happy if they do not receive such error message.

you dont get such error message because the valuation type is already known from the PO.

You must to complete the field Valuation Type in the batch tab of MIGO. Then you can see this batch in MM02 if you entry the same value i the valuation type.

If this message is coming then you have to maintain the valuation type in PO & not in MIGO, Since you material is Split Valuated you have to maintain valuation type in PO itself, In MIGO valuation type field is not editable.
