tp error code 012

hi

I m unable to release my transport as while releasing the tr in se01 its throwing an error as tp error code 012 .

tp buffer checked failed.

    Hi IGL,

    Check with report RSTPTEST whether tp is able to connect to database.

    can you please check the permission of the files under /usr/sap/trans/buffer .

    Please make sure you have the TMS configured properly. The best and easy way is to login to client 000, run transaction STMS --> overview --> system. In next screen select the DEV instance and go to System --> Check --> Transport Tool

    Make sure everything come checked green..
