Not able to create Room

Hi

I am not able to create Room using room create wizard.

collaboration -> Room Creation

I have entered/ selected data as follows

Name - Test Room

Description - Test Room Description.

Owner - OwnerName.

Categories - Default categories.

Template - SAP_meeting_template.

When I Click on either "Next" or "Finish" button.

I get " No category specified " Error, though I have selected categories as default categories.

Any help/hint is appreciated

Hi Prashanth,

what is your Portal Version??? There is a known bug in the HTMLB code of EP6.0 SP2 Patch 4.

As stated in SAP Note 787677, installing Hotfix 7 (for Patch 4) would solve the problem here.

I'm not sure it may help you, but I've solved the problems I had with Room Creation applying Note 845671.

Hi Prashanth,

Just check if the room categories are configured properly.

To do this just Goto Collobaration administration-> Collaboration content.

under the related links, click Configure Room categories.

just check here if default category is configured. Does the error appear only for default category or for any other categories also??

Check with this and let us know if the problem still persists.

Deafault category list there ...

I think if it is not there .. then I should not get the category in the category list while creating a room
