workflow for order

Dear Experts,

What is work flow in sap pm.

My manager asked me to implement one workflow for breakdown mnt order.

I have searched in forum and google.

I am new to workflow in sap.

Pls guide me some tips to create workflow for breakdown mnt order.

Hi,

Workflow is used to trigger intimation to selected agents (person/organisation/work center) on processing of certain task in SAP.

1. In tcode OOCU, select node PM, PM-WOC and under this select node PM-WOC-MO.

2. Click hyperlinked text Assign agents

3. Select the task (say work order released) for which you need to assign agents and click button "create agent assignment"

4. Select object type user and enter user id

5. Select button "update index"

6. Come to earlier screen by pressing back button

7. select hyperlinked text "activate object linking"

8. activate the task PMO order released. Green button with text activated appears against the task.

9. Create and release order, On releasing an intimation will be sent to agent's work place (tcode: SBWP) after releasing the order.

suggest follow the same steps for triggering intimation to agent for any other sap defined task.

step 8 successfully and green coolur apperead.

But in inbox, ididnt get any information.

I did it for teco.

You are not getting alerts in SBWP for teco... could you get alerts on order release?? pls check and confirm.

Hi,

I was tried this scenario in ides/dev. I want to get the message in my inbox i.e user/local.

No alerts or messages are getting while creating or releasing or teco the order.

In oioe, put check mark in workflow for orders.

pls adivse me to solve this.

My manager asked me to test this in ides /dev.

Any settings to be made te get messages in inbox.

Hi,

I am able to get workflow alerts in inbox--> workflow folder without any further settings. Suggest get in touch with your basis team as you are not getting any alerts in sbwp workflow folder.

Hopefully you have assigned right object (user sap id) while carrying out customisation as informed earlier.
