seperate Number range for SLFN, SDCR, SDHF txn

Hi,

I am doing configuration of service desk & CHARM. when I create a change request from Service desk it is assigning the no. 800000001 to support message & for change request it is 800000002 but I like to get different nos. for these two txn types.

SLFN for service desk no. should have to start by 800000001 on words.

SDCR for Change request nos. should have to start with 900000001 on words or any different than 8****.

SDHF also should have to different than the above two ranges.

I was defined the no Ranges in SNRO for CRM_SERVIC as 8000000001 to 899999999.

For CHARM  /TMWFLOW/M no. 9000000001     to 999999999

/TMWFLOW/V                                   ???

/TMWFLOW/D                              ??

Kindly suggest the best suitable solution.

Thanks & Regards,

Darshan

Hi Darshan,

I am quite sure this is possible because CRM documents uses the number object CRM_SERVIC. Go into the this number range object (tx SNRO) and create a new number range for this object.

Then assign the object in IMG activity 'Define transaction type' to the relevant transaction type.

Hi Michael,

Thanks !!!

This is ok I can set different no. range for SLFN Support message. But i like to keep it's no. range as it is 8000000** on words & I like to get different nos. when I create request by clicking follow-up-transaction. currently it is taking 80000000**

Where could I change that nos.

Thnx & Regards,

Darshan

Hi Darshan,

if you have created an additional number range, just go to the 'Define transaction type' IMG activity and select SDCR/SMCR/ZDCR... (the relevant transaction type) and select the new number range as shown in the screenshots for the other transaction type above.

Should work,

Michael
