Hi Experts,
In pricing procedure of PO, there are two delivery condition types for manual entry of feright charges. Requirement is that the manual entry is to be done by few users only. Other users not to have the authorization to enter any value in these freight condition types.
In 'Define Condition Types -M/06', 'Manual entries' has 'No Limitations'.
With system default control, condition type value entry is possible for all the users with ME21N, ME22N, ME23N and activity 01, 02, 03 authorizations.
Tried with 'Function Authorizations for Buyers-OMET'. Created group Z1 with 'Display Conditions' selected. Assigned this user parameter EFB=Z1 for 1 user. So this user is not be able to enter any value in condition types. So to achive requirement, this paramter assignment has to be done for those users who should not have authorization to enter value in condition types. As number of such users will be very high, this option is not feasible.
Also in OMET, it is not possible to have 'Enter Conditions' selected without 'Display Conditions'.
Please suggest how few users will have authorization to enter any values in manual freight condition types in create/change PO.
Thanks in advance...

Hi Avinash,
Thanks for suggestion.... as mentioned it possible with using User parameter EFB.
But is there any other way of doing it?
One option is authorization object.
I know, in SD standard auth object is available but I could not find it in MM.
Is there any standard authorization object available for MM condition type maintenance in PO?
nope there ain't any (in std sap) , user parameter EFB is only way to do it. Easy way to find authorization objects for a transaction is to create a dummy user id and a role with only single transaction. u will stumble upon all possible authorization objects related to it . Here ur t-codes are ME21N and ME22N. And they dont have any authorization object for the functionality u r looking for.

Hi
Pls speak to a BASIS Consultant. This may be possible by assigning appropariate roles.
