the ECC system and SCM systems are well integrated and the MD transfer and change in MD are also transferred properly. But when I was accessing RSA1 Tcode it throws an error msg: Logical System name has been changed for this system.
The detailed error description is:
Message no. R3206
The logical system name of this system is ECCCLNT800. However, this system was originally created with the logical system name APOCLNT800. It is not permitted to change the logical system name, as connections to other systems will be damaged beyond repair.
The transaction is canceled.
Change the name of the logical system (table T000) for client back to APOCLNT800. This enables you to continue working with the system.
If you really want to change the logical name, than you can, if and when you:
Why the name is changed? if really the name changed, then where can I recheck it and avoid this?
Hi
Please check with your Basis team whether/how you did a client copy or if another client (e.g. APOCLNT800) has been configured for the same server earlier. You can also check few tables e.g. RSBASIDOC, RSADMINA - to check the entries. I would suggest to run RSA1 in debug mode to know the issue.
Thanks,
Prasun
