Issue in SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE function module

In SWDD i created a Activity and checked the check box 'Confirm End of Processing'.Now the issue is when i am using function module SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE to complete the workitem in my program and it is not getting completed.but when i uncheck the check box 'Confirm End of Processing' in activity and execute the function module SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE and it is working fine

Is there any option where my workitem should be complete by executing the function module SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE even the check is checked for 'Confirm End of Processing'

You are correct, with 'Confirm End or Processing' workitem will not get Completed status. You can have a workaround of calling this FM twice (with same input). First time it will make the workitem to Commited status, then second time it will change workitem to Completed status .

Let us wait, If any one has better solution for this .

If 'Confirm End of Processin' check then first use SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE. After

that use SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_CONFIRM. Then it will complete.

One more option would be to create a terminating event for the task and then raise the event at the appropriate time by calling FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE which should complete the work item.
