Exception message 20 is 'Cancel', which means that the entire quantity of the planned order is excess. This is not consistent with the scenario you have mentioned above.
Normally, according to the scenario you described, MRP will generate a Planned Order of 20 qty with no message. The '20' exception message indicates that you have another element (stock? another Planned? Production? Purch Req? etc etc) that has already satisfied the 10 qty sales order requirement.
A common reason for such a '20' exception message is that multiple MRP runs have created multiple supply elements, some of which are firmed. I suggest that you review your rescheduling horizon settings.

Hello
Please check the following wiki that I've created:
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/xAJhE
It explains the rescheduling basics and there is an example where exception 20 is triggered because of the rescheduling settings.

I don't think that exception message 20 has any relavence with that Lot Size EX or Min Lot Size = 20. Please provide screen shot of MD04

Hi,
Just leave blank in min lot size field...
If it is blank planned order will be created for only 10 qty instead of 20 qty (min lot size)
Or
one qn..
why you r requiring min lot size filed...
Check and revert back....
