Hi Friends,

We are working in solution manager 7.1 sps4. we are in our intial configuration steps.

System preparation and basic configuration performed successfully. But when I am checking in SMSY I found  system are maintained incorrectly as some are maintained manually.

I also have checked in LMDB but not able to find all the systems with correct entries.here also some manual changes happened it seems.

Now Just I want to do is clear all these data from SMSY and LMDB and pull the fresh data from SLD. Please guide me how can I achieve this task.

whether report 'RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM' can help me.

I will appreciate if you can share you inputs to resolve this issue.

Regards,

Satyabrat

Delete incorrectly maintaned systems -> check "where used" while deleting.

you have to check all dependancies and delete

after that again send data RZ70

in solution manager then check LANDSCAPE FETCH in sm37

run immediately if you want to

after finished check *lmdb* in sm37

you will get two jobs

run run immediately if you want to

Hi Abhijit,

As far as I understand we can't delete any system as far as it is maintained in LMDB. We have to remove it first from from LMDB then only we can delete these system from SMSY. My question is  how should I proceed if I want it from scratch..means all the system maintained in SLD should be in LMDB and then to SMSY.

Hi,

Update SLD Content to latest version as per Note 669669

Please go to solman_setup->system preparation->step 5 and DELETE and RE-CREATE the SLD connection in 'Setup LMDB'. If you got a popup of Activate Subscription about Model version, please click 'Yes'.

This will trigger new full synch from SLD to LMDB. This could take long time to complete.

First, you need to delete the technical system in LMDB
run tcode LMDB
select the system, open editor and delete the technical system

delete from SLD
run tcode SLDHTMLGUI
go to technical systems, select system and click on remove

then run tcode SMSY
go to System Groups and logical components
go to solution landscape
remove the entry

now again go to logical component
and delete the logical component

then run tcode solman_workcenter
go to solution manager administration
select the system and deactivate the solution

now delete the system from landscape components in SMSY

this was about removing system

and yes, as suggested by Srikishan, first Re-sync SLD-LMDB and check

Hi,

Please correct me if I am wrong,

I have to manually delete all systems from LMDB and SMSY  and then resynch it as ShriKrishan suggested.

My concern is  report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM which help us do this activity but I think it is for one system at a time not for all. So I am in a impression that it can help us to acheive this goal.
