How can I research a BW transport with error code 8?

Hi

How can I research a BW transport with error code 8?  I am transporting from dev to test systems.  The transport log does not have a lot of detail

  Method Execution                         05/25/2012 11:45:31    (8) Ended with errors

This transport only have new InfoObjects

hank you Rajesh,  This document was very useful.  However, the error message I got is :

   Method Execution                         05/25/2012 11:45:31    (8) Ended with errors

Any suggestions is  highly appreciated.

Hi Kusum,

1. As you said the transport request failed at Method Execution step, just click on the symbol shown below

2. Click on Expand (F5) in the next screen

3. You will find the error message in Red, please post that error message so that we can suggest you the solution.

Click on the line with the error and then expand all of the plus signs until you get the error message you need.

Hi Kusum,

1. Please click on the little document which is to the left of Method of execution. I have highlighted in my previous post (or) double click on the Method execution step.    

2. Click on + sign or Hit F5 twice and scroll down to find the error.

3. Error message appears in red
