SAX in WAS

Hi there, I am currently developing a stateless session bean, that makes use of classes in an other JAR file. Especially for creating an instance of a Sax-Parser I have huge Problems with references….

The Structure Is like this:

Com.sap.exaples.myCompany

-.reader:

- rederSouces.jar

- reader.java

- testBean.java

The class Reader tries to instanciate a new sax-Factory, But this fails due to the fact that the the satic Method of the SAPs Sax-Enviroment dosent know “my” sources …

I think I have to set a classpath or any things like this, but due to the J2EE environment in this context I think I has to be sated in one of the deployment descriptors, of the Jar or the EAR file that surrounds the JAR…

I’m pretty much a newbie in these things … especially in developing with NetWeaver and WAS, but I need this as an important part for my diploma thesis, that I write currently.

Thanks for any help!!!

TIMO

    Hi timo,

to set ur classpath for this, go to your project in your studio right click it goto properties.Select java build path from it.Add your .jar files to your java build path. This will automatically set your classpath.

    Hope it helps.
