On a Solution Manager the JAVA Stack does not start.

The only message I get is:

ora<sid> lsnrctl start

after that login as a sap user admin and startsap i mean;

<sid>adm startsap

after these steps it worked on my sytem i help it will help you too

I use MaxDB. What command is it in MaxDB?

You need to check is there memory bottleneck on your system.....

Try to put a smaller value - eg: 1024 for max heap size and xms in configtool.

Former Member

Still the same message after changing the heap size parameter in configtool

The UME settings like client, user, password and so on are set but still same problem

Former Member

read again my previous post.

it should be configured on global level.

If you've done that and it's still error, it would alert me that your datasource is not supported.

Refer to notes 718383 about supported datasource.

It was configured on global level and the data source is dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml and I think that the solution manager 7.1 supports this data source

How about your J2EE_ADMIN, J2EE_GUEST?? Is it exist in your UME Client? Do check the profiles as well.

Both Admin and Guest exist and the roles J2EE Admin and Guest are assigned.

Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseSecurityException: No active userstore is set.

It seems JAVA can't connect to ABAP system.

Go to this tool: /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<SNO>/j2ee/configtool/configtool.sh (LINUX) or configtool.bat (Windows)

Global server configuration -> services -> com.sap.security.core***

check this parameter:

ume.persistence.data_source_configuration -> your data source (usually dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml)

ume.r3.connection.master.ashost -> your java hostname (localhost if it's local)

ume.r3.connection.master.client -> your production client

ume.r3.connection.master.user -> usually SAPJSF

ume.r3.connection.master.passwd -> user password

Then make sure the user SAPJSF exist in your production client, along with correct password.

Then restart the JAVA cluster.

User was not locked but the profile of role sap_bc_jsf_communication was not generated.

After generation of the profile and restart of java the following error appears:
