Hi Experts,

We are trying to achieve ESO integration to ECC in one of our projects and want to learn that which all steps and Prerequisites are required to do it.

I come to know abt the System properties like sapintegration and odp.doc to define the ECC system.

How are we establishing the connection between ECC and ESO like RFC ?

Please give the detailed info about the integration.

Thanks,

Ankur Goyal

Hi Ankur,

Master Data Replication from ERP to ESO is a 2 step process.

1) Replicating prerequisite data like comany code, POrg, PGrp etc

2) Replicating Materials and Vendors.

First, execute report BBP_ES_CUSTOMIZINGDATA_EXTRACT in ERP. This report generates multiple XML files (for the prerequisite data). Once these files are generated you have to manually upload it to ESO through the import data tool. Be sure to upload the XML files in the order mentioned in the config document (service market place).

For Materials and Vendors the IDOCS have to be sent PI where it will be converted to XML and sent to ESO. In ESO background tasks have to be created which will pick and upload the XML data to the system.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Hi Ankur,

Usually system properties is maintained using the system or enterprise user. There is a prperty called is_integration_installed (exact name might be different) to which you need to assign the value YES. Once this is done you need to deploy the standard integration jar file which is provided with the installation.

kindly refer the integration config guide available in service market place. All the steps are explained in details.

Thanks,

Just wanted to clarify that the value of the is_sapint_installed system property should be set to TRUE. Also, if you are on 7.0, there is no separate jar file for integration. It’s part of the standard installation.
