Hi Parimala,
When i tried executing the program RSALERTTEST with additional configuration parameters, i am able to get the mails into my inbox.
But when is try sending message from EMAIL tx, i get the following error SAPconnect has encountered an unexpected system error. The received e-Mail address does not correspond t ..
Can u help me what might be the problem in setup.
As mentioned in you reply Do you see entries in SCOT or SOST transaction.
What are the entries that we see in these trasactions..?
Cheers,
Siva Maranani.
What you see in SCOT and SOST are the messages lined up for the next RSCONN01 program run to pick up. In SOST transaction make sure you have checked - Waiting
Errors Sent Transmitted flags.
I've not heard of that email error before...sorry.
Can you send me a sample Alert message for an application error you see in Alert Inbox. Do you have SSO setup....not sure if this is need for Alert config to work. email: pam_kamath@yahoo.com
thanks,
Pam

SCOT:
The "System status" in the SAPconnect administration provides an overview of the number of messages sent as well as the average processing times.
SOST:
Display and administration of all messages sent using SAPconnect. The program displays send requests that are being sent, or have already been sent by using SAPconnect, according to the selection criteria.
Hope this clarifies what you need to look for in those transactions.
Regards,
Sridhar
