ESS EHP5 - India Income Tax Declaration Error

Hi,

Could anyone help me with India Income Tax Declaration in EHP5? I understand that SAP has included the new application in EHP5 for the same. Here is what I have done.

1. Created an application in launch pad for Webdynpro Java application ClaimAdvanceRequest_IN and appno is maintained as 0002.

2. Iview used is the same one for Claim Advance Request

3. Backend Configuration has been done in the COuntry specific applications node.

The application comes up on the portal. On clicking the same it takes me to the application. A message is displayed "No Requests for the selection criteria". When I select one of the declaration type and click on Get Requests, no data is retrieved and same message is displayed.

If I click on create, it takes me to an error screen.

"java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.util.Collection.iterator() of an object loaded from local variable 'items'"

Could anyone please help as to why this could be happening? Stuck on it for a while now.

Also do I need to activate business function HCM_LOC_CI_32 and HCM_LOC_CI_33?
